About Us

Mogul Interior was established in 2010 but our story began long before then. In 1994, our small family arrived in the United States on a different path. At the time I was a licensed physical therapist, my husband Manoj an entrepreneur and our son was just two years old. Soon after moving to Michigan, we experienced a near-death car accident which forced me to retire from physical therapy. I decided to partner with my husband and join his import business and found the reclaimed wood carvings brought me comfort as I became the other half of "Royal Imports." Our business evolved from a small warehouse to a retail store front in Fort Myers where we stayed for 20+ years and had our two daughters. Bringing up our family of five in Southwest Florida and connecting to the community through our work was extremely rewarding.

I was always drawn to healing as a physical therapist and as I learned more about mindfulness and holistic living, I developed a deeper connection with the antique doors and vintage furniture that we imported from India. The old world carvings, the washed earthy patinas and the philosophy of wellnes all came together and guided us forward.

I was born in India and learned about holistic living from my grandmother, she was my guiding force & life taught us to overcome hurdles with a deep connection to the universe, we try and bring in these healing & magical energies through the vintage handcarved doors that we design and customize.

We renamed ourselves as "Mogul Interior" as it felt more fitting to the grand and luxurious nature of our pieces but allowed us to stay connected to the mindful artistic elements we wished to share. Each piece of art has a purpose, its free-spirited energy captures your heart and becomes part of your home. Our collection ranges from antique doors, architectural arches, sliding doors, wardrobe armoires, to one of a kind artifacts individually selected by us. The energies of the Jaipur blue door, the colorful tribal Damchia, or the reclaimed wood barn doors are immersive and unique like you. We expanded our collection to include custom doors, garden sculptures and sustainable bohemian clothing & moved to Central Florida in 2022 and now maintain a mainly online presence on several platforms such as ETSY, AMAZON, HOUZZ, CHAIRISH & EBAY. Sustainable Bohemian clothing in recycled silks and leisure wear kaftans are some of our best sellers. We have had the pleasure of working with David Copperfield, Sandals Resort, Escape Room, Walt Disney Parks, Aveda, Aziz Ansari, the Hindu Temple of SWFL, the Bhujageshwar Temple, and many renowned interior designers. We custom design and create art pieces to suit your needs at our warehouse in Longwood, Florida.

Our roots began across the ocean but span to the home we have created here in the USA. We hope to be able to share the treasures of India with you.
